Check out the interactive website cum trailer of the film Pudhupettai. Some of the transcripts are funny but a nice initiative on interactive trailers for Tamil films. The interactive trailer suggests of a common story line about an innocent turining into a gangster; that's a pretty ordinary story line for a regular tamil film viewer. Wouldn't want to watch another movie with the usual and oblivious story line. Selvaragavan would be the key to make the difference. Will he deliver this time around?

that was a pretty decent site. But i still feel that tamil movie websites are pretty amateurish when compared to Hollywood movie sites.
thanush is the only key to SR, if I think of SR, I can only think of perverted souls in the name of practical reality.
Prasanna, yeah there is a long way to go in building exiting and innovative trailers and web-ads. We can take it as a beginning.
The filmy crew has now understood that there are a lot of people online who spend their time on tamil film reviews and ads (as most of the time we got nothing much to work on LOL!) And they are slowly starting to catch up with the "Creative" label on the net.
Usha,
I perfectly agree with what you say. “Perverted Souls” – Definitely misrepresented souls!!
At least you could accept Kaathal Konden's story line as it portrayed a cranky character with an exiting climax. Lot of people liked his next super hit - 7G Rainbow Colony. For some reason I could not accept it.
May be the story line was inspiring enough for many individuals. But I though the film could have influenced a negative message on a larger extent.
I personally have seen a lot of individuals at bus stops and other public places – trying to do something to attract their “so called” dream girl on the other end. And in many such cases, with the girl giving any probable signs of enjoying this guy’s acts, this guy goes for a toss. He gets into the concept of love and starts escorting the lady where ever she goes and it leads to waste of time and pain in most cases. I am not saying love must start PURELY at heart or some thing like that. But the guys “fall” into love as soon as a girl shows some signs of complement (which could very well be for reasons other than her liking him, say like engaging time). For me that is crazy!
And Reel and Real life don’t mix and the mass youth don’t seem to accept it. They consider Danush’s heroics in Cinema as the Bible of Youth (adolescence), which is crazy.
Seeing Pattiyal and trailer of Pudhupettai, both films have some common scenes between them..So it may hard for Selva to make it unique. And also, Selva comes out of 'Love' and 'teenage' stories, in this films. I too expecting the film more to see how selva handle and done the things in the new and different genre for him
