TN politics ... turning dirty!

This time around, Vaiko's MDMK is supposed to play a vital role in the elections in Tamil Nadu. No one might have thought that Vaiko would join hands with AIADMK.

DMK's supremo - M Karunanidhi sarcastically commented that had Vaiko stayed with them then it would have favoured Vaiko and he moving out of the alliance would infact favour DMK. But his supporters are already playing dirty politics with some back biting... Check out the poster on the left.

Vaiko's exit from DPA,was not a decision taken by him, but was forced by DMK's nepotism and disgust of the MDMK cadres to be with DMK & PMK. Though, the J-factor is involved, he has made a good decision.

I have always thought politics in dirty and why such a gifted person like Vaiko should be a part of it. His amazing speech at Ilaiyaraja's Thirivasagam release function where, being an atheist commented on the verses of Manickavasagar took me in surprise.

There has been lot of talk about party like http://www.paritrana.org
which would contesting in the upcoming elections in TAMILNADU, PONDY, KERALA..... It's good effort that needs some real support! What do you think Kamal?

I agree!

I know a guy in Madurai who has very similar plans to float a party. His constitutional laws of the party is ready. Quite huge and volumnous.

Acc. to him, a party is nothing but an organization which has to be managed by managers. But I guess he is yet to accelerate his ideas. I told him about 2 months back that he has to be e-savvy to propagate his thoughts.

hi kamal,
Thanks for visiting my blog and airing ur view...
M.Karunanidhi tried to destroy the political career of vaiko wen he was in DMK. MK first tried to keep him at Delhi with a MP post. Then people close to vaiko in the south wer denied party posts. All this to make sure Stalin wud be his successor and Alagiri wud be the sole authirity for DMK in the southern districts...So, wen Vaiko came out and formed MDMK in the mid 90s I voted for him. But wen he went and aligned with DMK again in the subsequent elections, my regard for him diminished.
